2. Pico do Arieiro

2. Câmara de Lobos → Boca dos Namorados

Leave the coast behind and climb into the mountains towards Boca dos Namorados.

At approximately 1,000 metres above sea level, this spectacular viewpoint opens towards the dramatic valley of Curral das Freiras, surrounded by Madeira's rugged central mountains.
